Dear Adorable Puppy

Dear Adorable Puppy,

You had me at hello, or more like first “kiss”, but it was not meant to be. For this I am very sorry. I loved you and the boy loved you, which is a much harder sell. However, your current owners (aka: over priced over rated pet store) would not allow it. Though, very cute you were not destined to be mine for the following reasons:
1.) $1800 dollars is too much for ANY puppy (no matter how cute I think you are, and you truly are cute).
2.) You made the boy look far too cute, and possibly large with your tiny cuteness.
3.) The other dogs in my area could have eaten you for dinner.
4.) I’m broke, and you cost $1,800 dollars.
5.) I might have wanted to put you in my purse, which is just unacceptable as it is a little too much like Paris Hilton for me.
6.) Monthly payments on you were the equivalent of my raise.
7.) Your cuteness was almost unbearable, even the chew toys were larger than you.
8.) The guy at the store was a little pushy. I realize this should not be held against you, but he is one of your current “owners” I cannot be sure he has not rubbed off on you.
9.) I would have wanted to spoil you from the moment you were mine, and as previously stated I cannot afford to do so.
10.) $1800! Really?!
I am truly sorry it was not meant to be. I would have given you a thousand chew toys, millions of snuggles and even let you live if you peed on the floor. This is a true testament to your cuteness. However, you are just out of my price range right now.
